"We Help You Sell Your Business"

First, open a new widow or new internet browser on your computer and log on to your Bank's website in the usual way; answering your user name and password questions.  Be assured that we do not see any of this confidential information.  Then, on the left side of the webpage, typically click on:
  • My Accounts
  • Transfer Money
  • Interac® Money Transfers
  • Send Money
Now if this is the first time through - you may have to add us as a new "Recipient".  Choose:
  • Add a new Recipient
then, fill in the blanks:
 
Name:   Business Sell Canada
Email Addr:   mike77@businesssellcanada.com
Language:   English
Security Question:   .... your own email address ....
Answer:   .... your BusinessSellCanada Listing No. ....
Confirm Answer:   .... your BSC Listing Number again ....

            - N O T E -
1.  Please only use this "mike77" email address for sending money.   Do not use it for general correspondence.  Do not store it on your computer anywhere.  If you really want to save it for some reason, write it down on a piece of paper.
2.  The "Security Question" is your own email address !!  Use the same email address that you used in your ad for the public to respond to.  That is often the only way that we can identify who's sending us the money.  We do not get to see any of your personal details.  NOTE: Some banks reject the "@" symbol of your email address - simply substitute a Capital "X" or some other acceptable character in that spot.
3.  The ANSWER to the Security Question is your BusinessSellCanada Listing Number.  It is the 8 digit number that the web site assigned to your ad when you entered your Business-for-sale listing. It is on your confirmation email from the site.
4.  Please do not use other Security Questions and Answers as it's too easy for the money to become lost and unable for us to retrieve .... leaving you with an unpaid bill and a lot of extra work to reclaim it.
5.  Your Bank charges you directly for this transfer service.  They normally debit your account an additional $1.50 as a service charge.

then choose: "Next" and proceed to "Send Money"
 
Select us as the "Recipient" from the drop-down list.
 
Choose your Account (Savings / Chequing) that the money is to be taken from, and enter the total amount to pay, including the GST or HST amount.
Either $34.65 (5% GST)
 -or-  $37.29 (ON, NB=13% HST)
 -or-  $37.62 (PEI=14% HST)
 -or-  $37.95 (NS, NL=15% HST).
 
You may be asked for the "Security Question" and "Answer" at this point (if it wasn't set up when you added us as a Recipient).  See the notes above about that.  Proceed.
 
Enter a note to us if you wish, then continue with "Submit".
 
Review that everything on the form is correct, and when everything's OK, your final action is to click on the "Confirm" button.  (The authorization for the money transfer is now email'd to us and waits for us to pick it up and to deposit it into our business bank account.)
 
Record your Transaction # if you wish, and close the Banking page.  If you'd like, you can email us at mikemail@businesssellcanada.com and tell us that you've just paid your bill by Interac® Electronic Transfer.  Be sure to mention your Listing Number in the email.
